Jim Laughlin and his wife, Joanne, were dear friends of my parents, George and Genevieve Lueckenhoff. Mr. Laughlin always made my dad smile. He was a character and such a loving man. We will miss him here, but George will sure be happy to see his buddy!

He was the best boss a girl could ever have. I had the utmost respect for Jim. He hired me with the City in 1984 and promoted me in 1987 he made me a better person and taught me a lot. I missed him every day.

Dear Joanne & Family,

Even though only a short time before Jim left Clarence M. Kelley Group, I truly enjoyed working with him. Jim always had a joke or good story to tell. He was one of the most knowledgeable individuals I have known throughout my career in law enforcement. I know he will be missed by many. I am so glad to have known him.
