My deepest Condolences to Patty's family and friends. I believe we shared Home Room and a few classes at SMN from '57-'59. So sorry for your Loss...Sincerely,

I only learned of Pattie's illness and passing this morning. It is with a heavy heart that I send my condolences. I have such fond and happy memories of dancing at her studio. I, too, was one of those little girls that danced at Pattie's house on 75th and Walmer. After watching the older neighbor girls in dance class, my mother "finally" let me begin dancing with Pattie when I went to kindergarten. . . I was barely 5 years

I, too, was one of those little girls that danced at Pattie's house on 75th and Walmer. After watching the older neighbor girls in dance class, my mother "finally" let me begin dancing with Pattie when I went to kindergarten. . . I was barely 5 years old. It was 1965 and I danced with Pattie until I graduated high school. From the house, to the tiny "underground" studio, to the multiple classrooms and a gym! When I moved back to Kansas City as an adult, my oldest child danced there too! Pattie was a role model in so many ways. . . nurturing, fair, demanding, a business woman, fun, interested in all of our lives and she pushed the buttons that made us our best selves. She molded our presence and confidence. Such warm memories of hand-sewn costumes, auditioning for parts and opening number, finally being old enough to be the "helper" on rehearsal days. . and OH! those recital nights! I know you must have countless loving memories to sustain you at this sad time. Pattie leaves a lovely legacy. With sincere sympathy and much love, Lynne Grossman Bock

Then, she built the tiny "underground" studio on Foster that grew into several classrooms and a gym! I danced with her until I left for college! Such fond memories of a great dance foundation, happy times, fun friends and a smiling, nurturing, yet "demanding" Miss Pattie! Posted by: A friend Apr 12, 2014My deepest condolences to the family. Pattie was such an inspiration to my baby sis, Nanci Heigele. Her beautiful spirit will live on in her legacy which was dance.
Posted by: Victoria Worrel - Olathe, KS - friend Apr 02, 2014I spent about 15 years of my childhood taking dance at Beller Dance Studio (until 1982). I have many fond memories of my time there - and of the people.
With heartfelt sympathy and love for Miss Pattie -
